Health Visitor
Our health visitor promotes the health and development of the under-fives in their family setting. She visits all new-born babies between 10 – 14 days after delivery and is responsible for developmental checks and general wellbeing as the baby grows.
She is able to offer guidance in all aspects of child development including feeding, coping with crying babies, postnatal depression and health education advice.
The health visitor organises postnatal and mother and toddler support groups and runs a number of courses to deal with behavioural problems, positive parenting and baby massaging.
If you have children under five, the health visitor will make contact with you when you register.
To contact the health visitor please call 0208 359 8520.
