Annandale Patient Group

Our Patient Participation Group (PPG) acts in an advisory capacity to the Management Team and Partners. Its role is to seek to ensure that the needs, views and experiences of patients are at the heart of decision making at the Practice.

The Practice has adopted a Universal Membership model where all patients are automatically members of the PPG.

The PPG operates within a governance structure of

  • Leadership Team – taking the lead in managing relationships and activities with the Practice; and
  • Advisory Group – all patients can join the Advisory Group at any time by agreeing to share their email address with the PPG. Members of the Leadership Team are drawn from the Advisory Group.

The Team works with the Practice to:

  • Improve Communications
  • Gather Patient feedback through surveys and meetings
  • Provide Support
  • Seek Equality of Access for minority groups
  • Encourage Patient engagement in Well–Being campaigns and initiatives.
  • Facilitate Co-Design of Services

We are actively recruiting volunteers to become involved with the team.  Involvement can be a rewarding experience and will take as much or as little time as you can spare.

Email [email protected] or contact Reception if you would like further information.

Please note that the Patient Group cannot become involved in matters of a specifically medical or clinical nature.
